How It Works

 

Monique’s Video Scrapbook provides a very personal custom movie of your memories. Whether we are creating a photo montage or editing your family movies, each project gets our personal creative attention.

 

Take a moment to see the samples, read the project planning page and look over the music ideas.

 

When you are ready to go forward, or need some questions answered, fill out our order form and send it to us. Don’t worry about having all the answers, we will help you through the process. Some clients have very specific ideas, and our order form allows these thoughts to be communicated in a clear manner.

 

After we receive your order form you will be contacted, typically within 24 hours. We will answer any questions you have and discuss your expectations. At this point you should know the purpose of your video scrapbook. We will develop a concept with you that fits the person and the occasion and probably begin suggesting music that might work, if you don’t have any specific ideas.

 

You should nowl be ready to send out the materials. If you are scanning pictures and providing a disk follow the information on the planning page. If you are sending photos and documents to be scanned, carefully number the back per the project planning page. If you are sending videos or family film, be sure to note if there are any special moments you want included in the final video. You may also have more ideas on captions and titles, be sure to include them.

 

Package it all up and send it out to us.

 

Upon receipt, we will again call to review the materials and new ideas you have provided.

We will then begin picture scanning and video capture followed by color correction and restoration. In approximately a week later, we should have a rough cut assembled. We will give you the opportunity to view this online or through email. We may call to ask for some additional details or clarify spelling.. This will be the point payment is required prior to shipment.

 

Finally, we will make some fine tuning adjustments and do some sound work if necessary. We will print your disks or tapes with a custom color label and ship the final product along with all your originals back to you.

 

When you receive the finished video scrapbook, be sure there are no errors and that it plays in your DVD player. If there are any problems, we will remedy them immediately and overnight the corrected video to you.
